Catherine will be playing the main character in our story! Here is her mini interview.

Interview Transcription:
Hi, I’m Catherine Griffiths Auger and I will be playing the role of Rowenna in the upcoming fantasy film series, Moon Spell.

What part about playing this character are you excited for?

The part I am most excited for in playing this character is all of it actually. I have loved fantasy for forever, so I am just excited about the entire thing.

What is challenging for you in playing this character?

I think the most challenging thing for me will actually be playing my age. So, the character of Rowenna is middle-aged and I am middle-aged, but I almost always get cast as someone in their 20s, so I know I come across as younger. And so, I think it might be a little challenging for me to find ways to age myself up. I haven’t quite figured out the ways I want to do that yet, but I am working on it.

What do you like about your character?

The thing that I like about my character, and all the characters actually, is that everyone is complex and nuanced. There’s not just one side to everybody, everyone has lots of different sides. So my character is strong and a little bit sassy and all of that, but also she’s a little anxious and she’s a little soft and gentle and you know, we can be strong and do things for ourselves, but we can also be romantic and be soft and I just like that there’s multiple sides

What are you most excited about with this film?

I’m just excited to see it all come together, seeing everyone in costume and just all the characters interacting. It’s going to be an awesome time.
