We’re so excited to bring this story to life! So many women have mentioned to me that they want a film like LOTR, but with women. And while this isn’t quite that, there are more women than men, and the women aren’t relegated to the typical fantasy roles of ‘background who doesn’t speak’ or ‘super hot bad-ass every man drools over’ or ‘ugly old crone’. I wanted something that was relatable in lots of ways, but in a fun fantasy setting with a splash of magic. Where a diverse group of people can just exist and be apart of a story.
